Haber · 04/15/05 09:18AM

James Wolcott directs us to a new site: David Kamp and Steven Daly's Snobsite, the online outpost of Vanity Fair's long-running 'Rock Snob's Dictionary.' (We're keeping our fingers crossed for Josh Freelantzovitz's blog to launch any day now.)

Our super-favoritest married columnist who still inexplicably writes about dating for New York mag, Amy Sohn, needs your help:

NYT: Genocide So Much Worse Than Fact-Fudging

Jessica · 04/15/05 08:49AM

We've been a little worried about the Times apparent lack of concern over the allegations that its intrepid Metro Desk flubber, New Post-New Post-Journalist Alan Feurer, invented a few details in his copy while playing foreign correspondent in Iraq. (Really, what is truth? Does it matter? Serotonin and dopamine dictate everything, that's all you need to know.)

Who's The Boss At 'The Week' Luncheon?

Jessica · 04/15/05 08:24AM

Editor & Publisher queen bee Jesse Oxfeld enlightens us all on the matter of yesterday's "Conversations" luncheon on Mideast peace, hosted by The Week. Per usual, the attendees were more interesting than the speakers (precisely why we tend to ignore these events). CNN is reporting that pro-baller and senator (and Democratic party presidential dream date) Bill Bradley has just signed up to host a show for Sirius Satellite Radio:

Tom Wolfe Speaks in Tongues

Haber · 04/14/05 11:35AM

Remember Doctor Rammer Doc Doc? No? Then you must not've read Tom Wolfe's A Man In Full, which featured the improbably named rapper's threat to "peel yo cap."

Jessica · 04/14/05 11:02AM

When Harry Met Tina.
There's only one place such a terrible photo could come from: the powder room at Tina Brown and Harold Evans' 57th Street love nest. And what better place to display your media memories than in the toilet? After the jump, a Gawker operative, armed with a cameraphone and a dream, provides photographic documentation of the Tina's bathroom reading material.

Haber · 04/14/05 09:30AM

On the eve of Radar's triumphant return to the newsstand and its rightful place at the center of American life (for chic, informed, jaded but not cynical 25-39 year-old men and women of all sexual orientations, with high incomes in urban centers), Media Life Magazine interviews the Maer Roshan sound bite AI unit.
