We rarely laugh out loud at something we read on the web. In fact, we rarely laugh out loud at anything. (We live in a very dark place.) But this line from Slate brought out an unusually hearty convulsive feeling from inside of us that the Vice President would call a laugh.

Those who revere Trivial Pursuit for its wit and erudition may be heartbroken to learn that it was created by Canadian hockey fans.

We're not comedy geniuses—heck, we're not even comedy amateurs—but we think it has something to do with nailing both Canada and hockey fans. Throw in one more straw-man, and you have what (Canadian) hockey fans might call a hat trick. That's what we're talkin' aboot.
