U.S. News & World Report reports that David Petraeus' mistress Paula Broadwell "recently" lost her North Carolina driver's license in Washington D.C.'s Rock Creek Park, where it was discovered by a jogger, thus plunging this story further into Robert Ludlum thriller cliche. Whether the license was found before or after the scandal broke and Broadwell vanished from public view is crucial information for properly calibrating our conspiracy-o-meters, but there is currently no word on exactly when the license was discovered. Park police told U.S. News they were keeping the license for 90 days before sending it back to North Carolina if it remained unclaimed.
