• A photographer says he plans to file a lawsuit against Lindsay Lohan after her driver "nearly killed" him in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday. The paparazzo says he's "lucky to be alive" and now plans to make sure Lindsay "goes to jail" for her crimes despite the fact LiLo wasn't even the one driving, and the photographer only injured his wrist and never even had to go to the hospital. • Have Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly set a date? According to the Post, which conducted an undercover investigation last week, the couple are planning to get married in November at the Oheka Castle on Long Island, which is where Kevin Jonas got married recently. [NYP]
• Another Beyoncé concert is stirring up controversy. Less than two weeks after she got into trouble for performing for Hannibal Khadafy comes the news that residents of Trinidad are up in arms over a $1 million Beyoncé concert planned for February 18. Locals claim it will divert from the country's annual Carnival celebration. [Sun]

In an article written with somewhat weaker language than its headline, the Post reports that Conan is "ready to fly the coop" (plus other peacock jokes) over Leno's decision to steal his time slot. Of Leno and the network, their anonymous source says, "This level of shittiness was not expected." [NYP]

Now that Leno's move back to 11:30 is official, all eyes are Conan: Will he suck it up and helm the "Tonight Show" at midnight or make the move to another network? Variety says he is 'not happy'. Duh.

"'The Jay Leno Show' will exit prime time on Feb. 11, NBC confirmed...the network does not yet know what its future late-night lineup will look like." Related, Brian Stelter's hangover will make for an interesting day in the office. [NYT]

Just moments ago on The Tonight Show, Conan O'Brien addressed the reports that NBC is giving the 11:35 PM time slot back to Jay Leno for the first time since the news broke—and he didn't hold back. Video inside.

So there're lots of little newslet bits coming out today about the Jay Leno-NBC-Conan kerfuffle. It's impossible to keep up with all of them, so we'll just say this: While an interesting media story, who really cares about late night?

• The epic mess at NBC continues: The last-place network is now thinking above moving Jay Leno to a 11:35pm-12:05am time slot and then having Conan O'Brien follow him for a full hour. But no deal has been reached, and there's still a possibility that Conan will abandon ship. [NYT, LAT, BN, NYT]

Yesterday we heard various reports of NBC shuffling their Late Night schedule: Leno's cancelled! Conan's out! Fallon's a transexual! Carson Daly's under suicide watch! Anyway, Jay Leno took some time to address these rumors during his monologue last night.

This NBC late-night shakeup has a shell game quality to it: The Times' Media Decoder now reveals this new lineup, which would possibly be unveiled after NBC's Olympics coverage finishes February 28th. Hey, look: Conan's still there!

• Is NBC shutting down Jay Leno's 10pm show and moving him back to late night? Is Conan O'Brien out of a job? NBC isn't denying that a schedule change has been discussed, but it's not saying much more than that for now. [NYT]
• ABC News is reportedly in negotiations with Ted Koppel to bring him back to the network as the anchor of This Week on Sunday mornings. [Politico]

The rumors of Jay Leno's cancellation are greatly exaggerated, NBC said in a statement today. Everything's fine, his talk show gets the ratings they'd expected, etc. Though, doesn't their need to issue a statement imply the opposite? Or not: breathless update below!

NBC is making a record 18 pilots for next season. Jay Leno should be nervous.

Tonight, Glenn Beck's crazy train (or plane, per his tweet) made a stop at The Jay Leno Show for a mostly soft-hitting—albeit entertaining—interview, followed by a baking segment. Yes, really. Video of both, and some choice quotes, ahead.

On tonight's episode of The Jay Leno Show, Snooki, The Situation and Pauly D continued their week-long domination of American television by facing off in a "Battle of the Jersey Shore All Stars" segment. And, yes—they were horrible.

• Lindsay Lohan landed in India yesterday where she's taking part in a BBC documentary on child sex trafficking. And she's already making a difference! Just hours after landing, she hopped on Twitter to proclaim that "over 40 children" have been "saved so far." What she did to save these kids isn't clear (especially when she could use some saving herself), but why quibble over details? [Us]
• In other (and more dubious) LiLo news, the Daily News reports that Lohan has a new man: "Lindsay Lohan is covering all her bases before she ships off to India—and that includes kissing several boys goodbye." Given she's already left the country, you may want to ignore what follows from there, but the guy she's supposedly seeing is Adam Senn, the model and bad boy from first season of The City, who met LiLo during Fashion Week and is someone Senn is hoping to "get to know even better." • Have Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel broken up? Who knows, but he was supposedly seen flirting with a bunch of women the other night. [P6]
• Today in Tiger: The number of women Woods has been cheating with hit 13 yesterday afternoon, just as racy text messages that Tiger sent Jaimee Grubbs and Rachel Uchitel surfaced. In other Tiger mistress news, a video featuring porn star Holly Sampson bragging about having sex with Tiger Woods also turned up yesterday. And Uchitel is supposedly planning to get tested for STDs now that she's found out how many women Tiger has been hooking up with.

What better way to get back at the network that had no faith in you than by making fun of it on its own airwaves. Last night, Tina finally got her revenge.

It's certainly not a best-case scenario, but in the face of all fears, the end of Jay Leno's ratings free fall doesn't seem bad. At last there are signs the NBC's Jay Leno experiment may have turned a corner.
