Manny Pacquiao is a professional boxer who’s easy enough to never once consider if you don’t follow the sport, unless you happen to read the internet and have an interest in gay rights and where, when, and via whom there is a lack thereof. In that case, you may know Pacquiao from his commentary on gays, a group that by virtue of his professed identity he is not part of and thus is no kind of an expert on.

Roy Bay, who shocked the internet earlier this week by arguing against a proposed Human Rights Ordinance expansion in Jacksonville, Florida, at a city council meeting by claiming to have molested boys in bathrooms without ever having been punished, lives on property owned by Evangel Temple, a Jacksonville church that has campaigned against expanding the HRO to include LGBT protections, according to Action News Jax.

“I lived most of my life sexually assaulting kids—I never went to jail,” said 56-year-old Roy Bay at last night’s Jacksonville City Council meeting in Florida. During the meeting, many spoke in favor and against expanding the city’s Human Rights Ordinance to include LGBT people. Bay (and possibly his church*) apparently thought sharing his horrific story of preying on children (for 20 years, according to a follow-up interview by Jacksonville’s Action News) would bolster the side against expanding the HRO. The idiocy is nauseating.

If prostitution is the world’s oldest profession, the world’s second oldest profession must be male politician with an anti-gay voting record who enjoys the dicks of men. Ladies and gentlemen, meet North Dakota House of Representatives member Randy Boehning (R).

Well, this is cathartic. During the annual Gay Pride parade in Seattle, a drag queen who goes by the name of Mama Tits confronted a pack of garden-variety Bible thumpers telling the gays to repent. Ms. Tits called them on their shit while conducting herself in a manner far more "Christian" than they were.

Yesterday, tig o'l bigot Bill Donohue of the Catholic League announced that he would not be marching in New York's upcoming LGBT Pride parade, after having his application to do so accepted by Pride's powers that be. Why the flip-flop? In the weak excuse for an excuse posted on his organization's website, Donohue wrote:

Catholic League figurehead Bill Donohue has made a career out of saying mean things about gay people. So furious was he at the outrage over the St. Patrick's Day Parade's continual banning of gay groups that he thought he'd reverse things a little bit and show the gays how it felt when someone who wasn't implicitly invited wanted to march in one of their parades. He applied to march in New York's LGBT Pride parade, vowing to carry a banner proclaiming, "Straight is Great." He also said he'd bring a wedding cake. "That'll really stick it to them," he probably thought.

An NYC Pride representative says he's welcome to do so. Inclusion that allows a bigot to make a fool of himself is an A+ response.

Noted homophobe and ex-gay who "was never gay-identified" David Pickup made an appearance on CNN this afternoon to mansplain to everyone that reparative therapy—designed to "cure" gays of their homosexuality—is still valid because it totally "worked" on him. Pickup (his real name, by the way) is the newest spokesman for National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH) after their previous leader George Rekers was caught vacationing with male prostitutes.

It only took about 15 months of "deliberation and prayer" after her husband was accused of coercing four teenage boys into sex for Vanessa Long, wife of Bishop Eddie Long, to seek a divorce. But, whoops, turns out God changed his mind!
