Here is a rule of thumb for Bernie Sanders supporters across this great nation: When talking about the Democratic primary, which pits Sanders against Hillary Clinton, do not use the word “whore.”

Last week, a local Denver journalist named Stan Bush reported that Hillary Clinton’s campaign appeared to be using a hidden static noise machine to prevent reporters and other passerby from hearing the candidate’s stump speech at an outdoor fundraiser held at the private residence of Colorado’s governor, John Hickenlooper. The general allegation hung in odd kind of limbo, however, since Bush managed to record the machine’s (inherently indiscriminate) sound but was unable to photograph the actual device, while Clinton’s press shop ignored reporters’ attempts to confirm the machine’s existence. Meanwhile, the underlying question went unanswered: Why was Clinton using a static noise machine in the first place?

In an interview with Cosmopolitan.com, Hillary Clinton lay responsibility for the “C.P. time” skit she appeared in with Bill de Blasio and Hamilton’s Leslie Odom Jr. at the New York City mayor’s feet.

Last night Bill de Blasio defended a joke he made about “colored person time” by explaining the joke for people who didn’t understand how funny it was—a strategy as old as time.

Coming off her husband’s hard to watch exchange with Black Lives Matters protestors last week, you’d think Hillary Clinton would be extra sensitive to anything that could even potentially paint her as racist right now. Which makes her and Bill de Blasio’s ill-advised joke about “C.P. time” or “colored people time” at a dinner this week all the more bizarre.

Despite his earlier insistence that everything between himself and the Clinton campaign is hunky-dory, Mayor Bill de Blasio still seems to be having a heck of a time convincing the high profile presidential candidate to appear in the same room with him.

On Thursday, Hillary Clinton delivered a fundraising speech at the private residence of Colorado’s governor, John Hickenlooper, in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood. The venue, a tent pitched on Hickenlooper’s lawn, was positioned close to the nearest street, which would have (theoretically) enabled non-guests to listen in on Clinton’s remarks. According to an on-scene reporter, however, the Democratic frontrunner’s campaign used a “static noise machine”—i.e., a larger speaker blasting static interference—to prevent such eavesdropping:

Michele Bachmann, a mother-of-five in town from a flyover state, successfully operated a New York City subway turnstile this morning, and on her first try no less—much better than can be said of Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton already knows the truth is out there. But now, Clinton campaign chair John Podesta confirmed that Hillary wants to get that truth out to the people, too. Does this mean that aliens are real and Hillary knows it? Almost certainly, yes.

Bill Clinton was supposed to be stumping for Hillary Clinton in Philly today. Instead, he spent a considerable amount of time explaining to Black Lives Matter protestors why they need to stop being so loud.

Hillary Clinton took the New York City subway this morning, to show that she is a woman of the people. She swiped her MetroCard once, and the turnstile didn’t turn. She swiped it again—nothing. A third time—no dice. The debacle leaves one question in the minds of New Yorkers across the five boroughs.
