A Florida judge overturned the state's ban on gay marriage today, but the ruling only applies to the Florida Keys. There's a similar case still being tried in Miami-Dade county. The Keys seems like a nice place to get married, and couples can do so starting on Tuesday.

Two Fruitland Park, Fla. cops have lost their jobs after an FBI source named the two as members of the Ku Klux Klan. According to WFTV, Deputy Police Chief David Borst resigned last Thursday and Cpl. George Hunnewell was fired on Friday. This isn't the first time a Fruitland Park officer has been accused of belonging to the KKK.

Mother Refused to Take Sick Child to Hospital Over Vegan Beliefs

Police arrested Sarah Anne Markham of Casselberry, Fla. today after she reportedly refused to have her newborn child eat or be treated with non-vegan food or medicine. The child, dehydrated and losing weight, was eventually taken to the hospital and placed into state custody. Markham was charged by police with child neglect.
