A man working with an industrial-sized wood chipper died today in Davie, Fla. when he fell into the machine. Police are still investigating the accident.

According to police, the victim was working with two others to clear brush when he fell in and was dragged through the machine. The Associated Press reports that while police and firefighters responded, when they arrived at the scene "it was obvious that the victim was already dead."

According to OSHA, from 2000-2013, there were 11 wood chipper deaths in the United States, but none in the state of Florida.
