On Tuesday, Donald Trump told the Associated Press that he doesn’t plan to release his tax returns before the presidential election in November. “There’s nothing to learn from them,” he said. Then, on Wednesday, he said he would release them. “I’ll release. Hopefully before the election I’ll release,” he told Fox News. “And I’d like to release.” (Doesn’t seem like it.) “You learn very little from a tax return,” he added. Maybe, but you learn a lot from someone’s ambivalence about releasing them.

Last night in Maryland, Hillary Clinton cruised to a 30-point victory over Bernie Sanders in the state’s primary. But a more instructive race may have happened down the ballot, where Rep. Chris Van Hollen won the Democratic primary for Senate in a testy battle with Rep. Donna Edwards. As in many down ballot contests, the primary—in which two Maryland Democrats fought to replace a Democrat who has held her seat since 1987—was the race.

Last night, a number of Facebook groups organized by Bernie Sanders supporters were briefly (and somewhat mysteriously) suspended, prompting suspicion that the Hillary Clinton-allied super PAC Correct the Record, which last week announced a $1 million anti-troll effort called “Barrier Breakers” had gone on the offensive. Facebook attributed the suspension to an automated policy gone awry.
