Katie Holmes Iced Some Bitches Out for Wearing "Free Katie" and "Save Suri" T-shirts for Halloween
This is the kind of story a natural disaster makes you forget is important: a couple Saturdays ago, Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri had dinner at Mr. Chow next to a group of fellow diners dressed up as Katie and Suri Freedom Fighters for Halloween. Also present: a guy dressed as Tom Cruise's character from Top Gun.
According to Page Six, Suri and her minder were already eating dinner in Tribeca when a hostess, who must have had great big clanking balls of steel, sat the offensively costumed party at a table next to them.
Two members of the party were reportedly wearing "Free Katie" and "Save Suri" t-shirts, which was awkward because that's also what Katie and Suri were wearing. (Just kidding; they were probably wearing thin tank tops that cost thousands of dollars + easy breezy pashminas.) A third was dressed as a young Tom Cruise.
The Post quotes a witness as saying the group "exchanged an awkward glance with Katie," who "kept her cool and didn't say anything," as opposed to loudly demanding these strangers switch into the spare t-shirts they didn't have with them.
The diners in the slogan tees reportedly covered up the messages before Suri noticed.
The guy dressed up as Tom Cruise probably just ripped off his face or removed his sunglasses.
