Today at 6 p.m., hip hop magazine The Source is going to premiere what they call "a secret racist tape" made by Eminem. For those not keeping up, Eminem and The Source's co-owner Benzino have been waging a really dull feud for like a year now.
Who knew? The American Music Awards show still exists. The show, in fact, was perpetrated just last night.
In what is surely a horseman of the apocalypse — wait, which one are we up to? The third? If the Hilton sisters were collectively the first horseman... Right. Anyway, a band calling itself Eddie Money Box Set is billing itself as an 80's karaoke party band. These are definitely the end times.

The Village Voice's Tricia Romano reports that music promoter Larry Tee, who catalyzed, if not started, the Williamsburg electroclash craze with his "Berliniamsburg" parties at Luxx, is hanging up his ironic Members Only jacket and calling it a synthesizer-and-legwarmer free night. It's like the 80s are over all over again. Ah, well. It was funny while it lasted.
