Well, this is starting to get a bit weird. For the second time in the span of a month, a man in New York City has been killed after being pushed in front of a subway train. The image above is the now infamous front-page of the New York Post from Dec. 4, when a freelance photographer working for the paper caught the imminent death of a man named Ki Suk Han. Tonight an unidentified man in Queens was pushed in front of the train by an also unidentified woman. Here is more or less what we know right now, courtesy of the New York Times' Ravi Somaiya.

If you're a dolphin (are you?), the Gulf of Mexico isn't exactly the place you want to be right now. The dolphins there are already dealing with a myriad of health issues stemming from the Deepwater Horizon explosion, and since June, a number of dolphins have washed ashore after having been killed and mutilated. Rahmatolla Vahidipour, the owner of a boutique in Flatbush, was shot three times and killed on Friday night, and his death is being linked to two other Brooklyn murders. Vahidipour and the two other victims — Mohamed Gebeli, killed in July, and Isaac Kadare, killed in August — shared a few qualities: all three were killed in the small Brooklyn stores that they owned, were at least 59 years old and were shot by the same .22 caliber pistol. All three were also of Middle Eastern descent, and were killed around each store's closing time.

So, you want to move to Russia? (Oh, you don't? Just go with this, anyway.) Well, you better be prepared to fend off an attacking wolf while you herd sheep and cattle and eventually murder it with an axe. Two Children Were Stabbed to Death by Their Nanny on the Upper West Side; Media Very Excited by How Rich They Were

Caity Weaver · 10/26/12 10:21AM

Two children, ages 2 and 6, were stabbed to death in their Upper West Side apartment building yesterday, apparently by their nanny, 50-year-old Yoselyn Ortega. The children — a boy, Leo, and a girl, Lucia — were discovered in the bathtub by their mother, Marina Krim, when she returned home from taking her three-year-old to swimming practice. Krim found the nanny in the kitchen, lying next to a bloody knife, bleeding from what investigators believe was a self-inflicted slash to the throat. Krim's screams alerted neighbors to call the police.
