Ivanka Trump has a big, new business venture in the works. What is it? No one seems to know for sure, except that her partner in the venture is the multi-national food conglomerate ConAgra and it will (finally!) free "working Americans from the lunch rut of eating the same boring, expensive or unhealthy food at their desks day after day." Why would this be an issue of concern to Ivanka, you ask? On the new blog she's set up to market the product, the heiress, model, real estate executive, jewelry designer, and reality TV star explains that she's sick and tired of shlepping her lunch to work in a brown paper bag every day.

The website Jewssip.com ("celebrity news from a higher authority") reports that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner may be one step closer to walking down the aisle. The site's "inside source" says Ivanka has been taking conversion classes with Rabbi Haskel Lookstein at the Kehilath Jeshurun Synagogue on the Upper East Side. And Jewssip says she'll be back at the synagogue with on Thursday for Yom Kippur services. [Jewssip]

The Observer has a roundup of New York real estate titans and which political candidates they've been busy handing over cash to in recent weeks. Just in case you were thinking that Donald Trump's endorsement of John McCain last week was merely another opportunity for Donald to worm his way into the spotlight, think again: "The whole adult family—Donald Sr., Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric—has been generous to McCain, giving well over $50,000 to the campaign since May and another $29,000 to the Republican National Committee." One things we learned from BlackBook's interview with "executive/heiress" Ivanka Trump: that one of the causes she's particularly passionate about is her brother Eric's foundation. Who knew The Donald's youngest son from his marriage to Ivana was "dedicated to improving the lives of children battling life-threatening or debilitating medical conditions"? The Eric Trump Foundation has a website, which you can peruse here. A look at the Events section might explain why it was on Ivanka's mind: The foundation's annual golf outing is taking place this afternoon at the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester.

Would you let your DNA end up on a database controlled by Anne Wojcicki, the wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, who has financial backing from Rupert Murdoch's wife Wendi Deng and Harvey Weinstein? The glam crowd at a Fashion Week "spit party" thrown by 23andme.com—which offers testing to reveal ancestry, genetic traits and propensity to diseases—had no qualms, perhaps confident of their genetic superiority: Ivanka Trump, for instance, was delighted to discover she didn't have fat genes (unlike one of her less fortunate friends).

Ivanka Trump, Donald's 26-year-old daughter who works for his real-estate company, maybe wants to write a book. Cindy Adams says, "Doesn't know about what yet nor even who'd be her collaborator yet... it should deal with her being a role model, that the number she expects as an advance is in the neighborhood of $2 million." Adorable publishing tyke Jared Kushnergot got back together with girlfriend Ivanka Trump! Really, how could he not, they have so much in common: Both are attractive, both rich due to inherited real estate wealth and both have fathers who get extremely nasty while feuding with enemies. But Kushner is a Jew and Ivanka's a shiksa, and this has been a problem for Kushner's Orthodox family. In fact, the religious divide may very well have been behind the couple's mysterious breakup in April, around the time of their one-year anniversary. To get Kushner back, Ivanka has promised that, if things get more serious, she'll convert to Judaism. So sweet! And I'm sure the socialite feels a profound, authentic connection to the religion. Totes! Well, sort of. A friend tells Page Six the conversion is "a possibility, but that's way down the line." Ivanka Trump stays at Quality Inns when she travels! And she eats at Little Caesars! She's just like you. Well, supposing you lived in Wichita or Chico. The daughter of The Donald tells the Post today that after her flight to Aspen got laid over in Salt Lake City because of storms, she had no choice but to stay at the downmarket Quality Inn and then used an $18 stipend from the airline to have dinner at Little Caesars. Poor thing! (Guess the Hilton was all full?) Naturally, this sort of silliness is nothing new for the heiress whose Madison Avenue diamond boutique offers monster earrings at $35K a pop.
