A Detroit Public Schools district superintendent is accusing the board president of masturbating in her presence. She says it was his "usual habit" to fondle himself during meetings and she "tried to ignore it." This is called "The Dov Charney."

We've told you about American Apparel's photo-based hiring standards, its anti-uglies internal policies, and its "natural" employee grooming standards. Yesterday, the company issued a statement defending itself. Well then. Time for AA employees to spill some dirt for you.

Following our recent posts on American Apparel's hiring practices and general business practices, the company issued the following statement on its website today. And Dov Charney included his phone number:

Last week, we learned that sextastic clothing line American Apparel hires and fires employees based on photos, and we shared internal documents detailing their No Uglies Allowed policies. Today, we bring you AA Grooming Standards—male and female.

Yesterday, we told you about American Apparel's practice of making hires and promotions based largely on "full body" employee photos. We now have internal documents and photos detailing the policy—plus, former employees vent on life in AA's fashion dungeon.

Supersexual fashion brand American Apparel was accused last year of having a policy of firing employees that management deemed too ugly. According to some new inside information we received, hiring and firing is now largely based on employee photos.

American Apparel announced a $17.6 million loss for the first quarter of 2010, a figure that puts the company in danger of defaulting on one of its loans. If it can't refinance, you'll have nowhere to get striped tube socks!

Earlier this summer, American Apparel got nailed for having nearly 2,000 illegal factory workers in L.A.. Now 1,500 of those workers have been fired. Dov Charney is even sadder about it than they are.
