A woman in St. Petersburg, Florida was arrested yesterday after the local sheriff's department published photos of her riding a manatee in nearby Tampa Bay. The woman, identified as Ana Gloria Garcia Gutierrez, has been charged with violating the Florida Marine Sanctuary Act, which seeks to "protect and preserve living and other resources of the Florida Keys marine environment."

Dead Drug Dealer Arrested At His Own Wedding

Above is a video of awesomely-named Colombian drug dealer Fritanga, or Fry-Up, (nee Camilo Torres) being arrested at his Caribbean wedding on Sunday. The wedding, which cost Fry-Up an estimated $1.41 million, was set to last a full week and featured various Colombian entertainers (including the appropriately named band, Los Mortal Combat) and soap opera stars, all of whom were forced to lie facedown on the ground as the arrest was made. Fry-up's model wife, whom he'd just married minutes before, was in tears as they lead her new husband away.

Rebekah Brooks Arrested Again

It looks like the biggest guillotine thus far has fallen (again) in the News Corp phone hacking scandal: British police have reportedly arrested Rebekah Brooks—former editor of the tabloids News of the World and The Sun, as well as former CEO of News International, News Corp's UK newspaper division, and a close friend and confidante of the Murdoch family. Brooks resigned from News International last year and was arrested last summer in the earlier stages of the phone hacking investigation. She was given a hefty going-away package last year.

Busted Drunk Bus Cop Too Drunk to Ride Bus

Here you see (an extremely uncooperative) Carlos Fabara, an NYPD sergeant of 14 years experience, being hauled off a Greyhound bus and arrested, for being drunk. Too drunk to ride a Greyhound bus? Think about that. A helpful Youtube commenter explains: "yeah so before the video was taken, he and his friend were stumbling drunk and slurring when they boarded (too early) and refused to get off when they were asked to wait outside with the other ticketed customers. Plus, the driver was on a short fuse after [a man was kicked off for smoking cigarettes in the bathroom], so things just escalated really quickly. they weren't doing anything in particular, but they also weren't cooperating. not really sure if they deserved to get arrested, but the one officer did."
