Etan Patz Murder Update: Suspect Arrested

The New York Times reports that police have now arrested Pedro Hernandez, the man who earlier confessed to choking 6-year-old Etan Patz to death in 1979, on charges of second degree murder.
Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said during a news conference that Hernandez seemed "remorseful," and appeared to experience "a feeling of relief" after confessing.
Hernandez told investigators he lured the child into the basement of a bodega where he worked on the promise of a soda.
Said Commissioner Kelly, "We believe that this is the individual responsible for the crime."
