Under the newly-launched "Operation Wisconsin," Anonymous members have taken down the website of the Koch-funded free-market advocacy group Americans for Prosperity with a DDoS attack. One interesting bit: During a trip to South America in 1961, then-Assistant District Attorney Kennedy had a party at a brothel: "while Kennedy was in Santiago made arrangements to 'rent' a brothel for an entire night. Kennedy allegedly invited one of the Embassy chauffeurs to participate in the night's activities." Kennedy was in South America to meet various "left-wingers," and Communists, according to the memo. (To what end? The memo doesn't say.) Diplomacy was different back in the 60s, one hopes.
Over the past two years a 48-year-old guy in Naperville, Illinois sent $200,000 to his online girlfriend's bank accounts in Nigeria, Malaysia and the U.S. When the guy contacted the police to report she'd been kidnapped in London, the officer revealed that he'd been scammed. Never send money to Nigeria.

Republican Arizona state senator Scott Bundgaard avoided a night in jail because of a law which grants lawmakers immunity while the legislature is in session. He and his girlfriend, Aubry Ballard, got in a fight in their car on the side of the road after a "Dancing with the Stars" fundraiser last weekend. According to Bundgaard, Ballard got upset after accusing him of "inappropriately touching" his partner in the event. Cops showed up and found marks suggesting violence on both Bundgaard and Ballard, but only arrested Ballard. Bungaard got to use his official state legislature Get Out of Jail Free card.
