Got Trump's Video of "Thousands and Thousands" of New Jersey Residents Cheering on 9/11? We'll Pay For It

On two separate occasions this weekend, increasingly less-crypto crypto-fascist Donald Trump made reference to a video of thousands of Arab-Americans in Jersey City, New Jersey cheering as the Twin Towers fell on 9/11. Thus far, absolutely no one has been able to verify this claim, most likely because the video never actually existed in the first place. But on the infinitesimally small chance it is out there and you’ve got it—we want to see it and we’re willing to pay.

Slack Was Down

Slack, a group chat and instant messaging program popular in tech and digital media workplaces, was down for a while this afternoon. Then it was back up for a little bit, but now it is down again. We will update this post when and if Slack commits to one state of being. UPDATE: Slack is, for now, back up. Will it remain so? Only time will tell. UPDATE 2: Slack access remains spotty for many. UPDATE 3: Slack access has been largely restored.

Jacob Marberger, the Washington College student who disappeared last week, was found dead in a Pennsylvania park on Saturday afternoon. Police say he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Washington College will reopen at the end of the month, per officials.
