Open Up Your Wireless Network to Prevent SWAT Raids Like This One

Adrian Chen · 06/29/12 12:05PM

Did you hear about the Indiana family whose home got raided by a SWAT team because they left their Wi-Fi open and someone used it to post threatening messages? It's being cast as a cautionary tale to warn people to always lock their wireless networks. But the more important argument it makes is for a world where nobody ever locks their wireless networks at all.

Here's a Picture of Channing Tatum As an Actual Stripper

Rich Juzwiak · 06/29/12 11:25AM

Back in the day, Channing Tatum didn't only just play a stripper on TV commercials and in movies — he was an actual stripper. You know this. His former profession is why he's one of the producers of Magic Mike. It's also something that adds to his status as an American icon. And no film has better encapsulated the new masculinity zeitgeist that values self security over rigid, external notions quite as definitively as Steven Soderbergh's male-stripper saga Magic Mike.

Stephen Colbert Isn't the Only One Who Had His Heart Broken By Chief Justice Roberts

Matt Toder · 06/28/12 11:00PM

On tonight's Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert laid his heart on the table and was very upfront about how it had been broken by Chief Justice John Roberts today. With his vote swinging the Supreme Court's ruling, Roberts didn't just uphold Obamacare, he destroyed Colbert and a few other Republicans as well.
