Your 20s are meant to be a time of self-reflection and discovery. Bad decisions are inevitable. Amal El-Wahabi knows all about bad decisions. In January, the 28-year-old tried to smuggle money to her husband—a member of ISIS—by concealing it in her friend's underwear. The plan, for obvious reasons, failed.

Today, El-Wahabi was sentenced to 28 months in prison.

According to Bloomberg, El-Wahabi's lawyer "told the court that his client had no 'terrorist ambition' and was under pressure from her husband to send the money to Syria."

The Great Underwear Plot began earlier this year when El-Wahabi convinced her friend, Nawal Msaad, to smuggle 20,000 euros to Turkey, whereupon it would be transported to Syria. But, as the BBC reports, the plan was quickly thwarted.

...the plan fell apart when Ms. Msaad was stopped at Heathrow Airport and confirmed to police that she was carrying the cash. A court later heard claims that she had hidden it in her underwear.

Do not fund terrorism. Terrorism is bad.
