The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge was a singular phenomenon that swept up celebrities and normals alike with its combination of altruism and gale force peer pressure. It raised so many millions that the ALSA doesn't know how to spend them all. And it's also, we can all agree, over.

So, naturally, Kim Kardashian just did it. On Ellen. While taking a selfie.

Here is a Google Trends graph showing interest in the Ice Bucket Challenge over the past 30 days:

Back in mid-August, on the front half of the bell curve, is the period when a celebrity doing the challenge could have brought it to a new audience—"raised awareness," in the parlance of our time—and significantly increased donations to fight Lou Gehrig's disease. Today, as the meme disappears into a long tail, the only thing a celebrity's participation can raise awareness of is that celebrity.

But this is just one of the many ways that Kim Kardashian shows she kares. Did you know, for example, that she donates 10 percent of the proceeds from her eBay auctions to a ministry founded by her mom?

Never let it be said that she doesn't give anything back.
