On November 7, Donald Trump will take the Saturday Night Live stage in what will either be the greatest tragicomedy of our time or a complete and utter disaster. Either way, one thing is for certain: It is going to be very, very painful. We can’t wait.

This isn’t Trump’s first appearance on the show, of course. Back in 2004, he hosted but with significantly less on the line.

With an ostensible presidency at stake (god help us), it’ll be interesting to see how much he’ll censor himself. Trump obviously isn’t someone who’s shied away from making a fool out of himself in the past, what with his short-lived mail-order steak commercial for instance.

Or his making out with Rudolph Giuliani in drag.

The only question now is how far Trump’s willing to let the SNL writers go.
