Happy Friday! There's one less annoying music act in the world.

LMFAO — AKA Barry Gordy's son Stefan Kendal "Redfoo" Gordy and his nephew Skyler Austen "SkyBlu" Gordy — have decided to go their separate ways and pursue other interests besides party rocking, shots, shots, shots, and being sexy and knowing it.

"I feel like we've been doing this for so long, five or six years," Redfoo told the Associated Press. "And we're kind of like saying, well, let's just do what's natural and just kind of explore that, instead of like forcing it all the time."

The 37-year-old says he's working developing his solo career, and is also launching a line of tennis clothing, of course.

Gordy told the AP he and SkyBlu could reunite as some distant point in the future, but for now the duo are headed in "different directions."

"I think that we naturally just started hanging with two different sets of people, two different crowds, but we're always family," he is quoted as saying. "He'll always be my nephew, I'll always be his uncle."
