First Grader Suspended for Sexual Harassment After Reciting Line from LMFAO Song
At long last, incontrovertible proof that LMFAO is destroying the youth of America.
D'Avonte Meadows, a first grader at Aurora Elementary in Aurora, Colorado, has been suspended from school for three days for sexual harassment. His crime? Quoting from LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It."
7NEWS reports that D'Avonte, a special needs student, told a female classmate "I'm sexy and I know it" while the two were waiting in the lunch line.
"I could understand if he was fondling her, looking up her skirt, trying to look in her shirt. That, to me, is sexual harassment," his mother, Stephanie Meadows, told the ABC affiliate. "I'm just, I'm floored. They're going to look at him like he's a pervert. And it's like, that's not fair to him."
D'Avonte has been disciplined for reciting the lyric before — to the same girl. In last month's incident he even threw in a "booty shake." 7NEWs says he was warned not to "shake anything in the girls' face again."
"I'm going to definitely have to sit with him and see if he understands exactly what the song means," his mother said.
