Adorable Sea Lion Checks Into Hotel to Heal, Lounge
This is Panchita, a Galapagos Sea Lion, and this is her story:
Some time ago Panchita was caught up in a net, which left deep cuts all over her body. She managed to make it to this hotel where animal advocates nursed her back to health for 3 months. Every day she returns to rest after being out to sea. She is now pregnant and expecting within a month.
This is Free Willy meets How Stella Got Her Groove Back and/or Holiday In the Sun. Thrilled to see Panchita finally got her happy ending, though paradise doesn't last forever and these two are going to have a helluva time finding a reasonably priced, kid-friendly spot in the water.
