After spending Christmas apart and being spotted in public without their wedding rings, Russell Brand made it official and filed for divorce from pop singer Katy Perry. He proposed to her on New Year's Eve 2009, so it's about exactly two years since they got engaged and a year since their October 2010 marriage.

I hate to say I told you so, but didn't you always see this one coming? Like they just fell too hard too fast and it just didn't seem like it would last? Oh well, this is probably for the best. Brand's marriage was still more successful than Arthur, so he can be proud of that.
