Darren Aronofsky, the director of Black Swan, released a statement about just how much dancing Natalie Portman did in the movie after her dance double publicly claimed she did 95% of the on-screen work. Apparently, she was wrong.

Aronofsky says he had his editor count all the shots of Natalie's character dancing in the movie. "There are 139 dance shots in the film. 111 are Natalie Portman untouched. 28 are her dance double Sarah Lane. If you do the math that's 75% Natalie Portman." He says that for two of the longer, more complicated dance sequences it is dance double Sarah Lane with Portman's head digitally grafted onto her body, but the practice wasn't used as heavily as Lane alleged. Damn, guess we're going to have to believe Portman worked hard for her Oscar after all. That schadenfreude tasted so good.
