Things took a turn from fat-and-bulging bodies to a young-and-budding romance when two Biggest Loser contestants got engaged during tonight's season finale.

Was this a pre-planned part of the show? It appears that at least Alexandra wasn't informed ahead of time of the upcoming proposal. The show came back from commercial with Allison Sweeney standing at the front of the stage with contestant Antoine. She says,"this is a night of surprises and Antoine has one too"
and then hands the floor over to the young man.
