Kenneth the Page Responds To Bobby Jindal
Jack McBrayer's self-deprecating jokes about his voice double Bobby Jindal came during a test run of Jimmy Fallon's Late Night. Test run for SNL is more like it.
We still say it's highly likely the 30 Rock star will be called on Saturday Night Live to do some sort of skit about Louisana Gov. Jindal. Weekend Update at the very least. McBrayer was the show's breakout star even before Jindal did an awful, sing-song televised rebuttal to the president the other night, evoking no one so much as McBrayer's character Kenneth the Page, a naive, overernest country boy.
Come to think of it, what the heck is the deal with all the national political figures who are facsimiles for 30 Rock stars? First Tina Fey and Sarah Palin, now McBrayer and Jindal. If Mitt Romney were to modulate his voice with the occasional cigarette (and Mormon blasphemy), Alec Baldwin could get in on the action, too
