  • Anna Wintour sits down for an interview with the Journal: "I don't think anyone is going to want to look overly flashy, overly glitzy, too Dubai, whatever you want to call it. I just don't think that's the moment. But I do feel an emphasis on quality and longevity and things that really last." [WSJ]
  • Yigal Azrouël was so incensed that Ashley Dupre turned up at his show, he fired publicist Kelly Cutrone for "mismanagement." Cutrone's response? "I've been fired before, and I'll be fired again." [NYDN]
  • The Azrouël debacle didn't stop Dupre from hitting the Davidelfin show on Friday and the Buckler presentation on Saturday. She then went to dinner with Cutrone and WWD and talked about her upcoming album ("It's pop-rock, it's going to be deep, not bubblegum") and the autobiographical book she's working on. After dinner, "Cutrone took Dupre to see a top editor at an avant-garde fashion magazine, who immediately expressed an interest in shooting her this week for an upcoming issue." [WWD]
