Life's all no shirt, no problems when you're Miley Cyrus. Last night, the pop star-cum-provocateur arrived at Alexander Wang's super secret New York Fashion Week after-party in Bushwick naked from the waist up, save for a set of tasseled ice cream cone pasties and a pair of plastic pill covered cat-eye sunglasses (see above). She greeted the designer with a friendly open-mouthed kiss, then proceeded to twerk, toke and 'gram the night away. It was, she claims, the "Best night eva." And we'd believe it.

Fey fashion designer Alexander Wang has been smacked with a $50 million lawsuit brought against him by about 30 garment manufacturers. The suit alleges that the company has been running a down-and-dirty sweatshop, rife with unsafe conditions and overworked employees, at 386 Broadway in New York's Chinatown—right around the corner from Gawker headquarters. So earlier this afternoon, I walked over with intern Maeve Keirans to check it out. And we didn't see much. Of anything.

The thing about Tavi Gevinson is: She's only 13 but she is already a famous and controversial fashion blogger. Last night, Tavi swooped into a Fashion Week party and we were able to talk to her for 1.5 minutes.

Just a few years after Time declared you the person of the year, the fashion industry has realized that we live in a new age of egalitarianism. Thus, some major Fashion Week shows will be streamed live on the internet.

The CFDA Awards were handed out last night. The big winners at the Oscars of fashion: Rodarte's Kate and Laura Mulleavy (left, with Kirsten Dunst) took home the award for womenswear designer of the year; Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez's Proenza Schouler won in the accessories category; the prize for menswear went to Scott Sternberg of Band of Outsiders and Italo Zucchelli of Calvin Klein; and Alexander Wang nabbed the award for emerging talent. Fashion's biggest booster won something, too. Thanks to her "meteoric rise as a style icon," Diane von Furstenberg gave Michelle Obama a special award at last night's ceremony, although, sadly, the crowd had to settle for a pre-taped acceptance speech by the First Lady. • Ralph Lauren closed out Fashion Week with a predictably opulent show. Anna Wintour turned up with Morley Safer in tow since 60 Minutes is filming a segment on the Vogue editrix. Blake Lively, however, did not appear all that interested in the conversation. [NYT, WWD, FWD, Racked]
• David Lauren appeared at Ralph's show with his leg in a cast. "He just sort of stepped off an uneven sidewalk wrong," explained Lauren Bush. [NYM]

What could be a nicer way to ease into the week than seeing Chace Crawford's adorable face pout in pseudo-concentration as he applies himself to a fashion quiz put to him by a kindly patronizing lady from Grazia magazine? Chace doesn't get many of the questions—Which are the world's fashion capitals? What is the difference between a wedge and a stiletto? Who is Alexander Wang?—right, which should establish his heterosexuality once and for all. Even if the snugness of his t-shirt and the prettiness of his bangs might beg to differ.
