It all started, as most things do, with a Bret Easton Ellis podcast.

Kanye was ranting about being the greatest when talk turned to his latest clashes with people who are not as great as he is.

"I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos," West told Ellis, referring to Zappos.com CEO Tony Hsieh. "[H]e's trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this shit product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling shit product."

Burn?

Zappos was mum about the outburst until late yesterday, when Hsieh decided to confront the charge head on.

"Kanye West says Zappos sells sh-t product," Hsieh tweeted. "It's true."

The "admission of guilt" was followed by a link to the single greatest comeback you'll experience this week: The Zappos.com Shit Product.

Available for a mere $100,000, the "shit product" comes in just one size — "shit" — but the shipping is free.

"Interested in buying sh-t product?" reads the description. "You've come to the right place! Here at Zappos.com, we happily sell sh-t products to everybody! This is the throne, everyone has been watching. Whether you're #1 or #2, your clique will show no mercy, even in Paris. The perfect gift for the man that has everything."

So. Many. Kanye. Digs.

And the review people have found most helpful? "Yo Zappos! Imma let you finish . . . but this is the best Sh-t product of all time!"

No response yet from Kanye or his reps. Then again, it takes time to rub on that much aloe vera.
