Young, Drunk Man Dies When His Gun Selfie Goes Horribly Wrong
After a night of drinking with friends last weekend, a 21-year-old Mexico City man accidentally shot himself in the head while posing with his gun for a selfie.
Officers found Oscar Otero Aguilar dead at a home in Mexico City's Gustavo A. Madero borough and arrested one of his two drinking buddies, although they believe his death was an accident.
According to Proceso Magazine, police believe Aguilar fired one shot from a wooden-handled .45 caliber pistol directly into his forehead while posing for a photo he intended to post to Facebook.
One of the other men along for the night out, Omar Abner Campos Vives, has been arrested. The third man, identified only as "El Paco," is still at large, Proceso reports.
An autopsy is scheduled for later this week, according to the New York Post.
