On Tuesday, the Republican National Convention held a roll call vote to officially nominate Donald Trump as their party’s candidate for President of the United States. Goddamn.

As expected, Trump easily passed the simple 1,237-delegate majority needed to secure the nomination, having won 1,543 delegates during the Republican primaries, according to the Associated Press. Wow.

Usually a mere formality, this year’s roll call vote was closely watched due to possible protests by anti-Trump delegates. However, few signs of rebellion were apparent on the convention floor Tuesday night. Jesus Christ.

Donald Trump. Donald fucking Trump. May God have mercy on us all.
