V. Stiviano Was Attacked by Racists Outside Her Hotel
V. Stiviano (neé Vanessa Perez), the woman who brought down L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling by recording his racist ranting, was attacked by two men outside her hotel Sunday, her attorney said.
As Stiviano was leaving the Gansevoort Hotel in Manhattan around 7 p.m. Sunday, two men "descended on her," and began hitting her and calling her racial slurs, Stiviano's lawyer Mac Nehoray said.
"They were about 5'7" and they knew exactly who she was. They began to hit her and called her the N word. Other disgusting slurs were made against her. She was able to run away and several onlookers then began attempting to apprehend the two men."
Stiviano hadn't filed a police report as of this morning. Nehoray said one side of her face—which is often covered by a visor—is red, but she's expected to make a full recovery.
Donald Sterling's alleged mistress was in New York to appear on Anderson Cooper 360.
