Police in Virginia arrested a teenager earlier this month after he allegedly hit his mother over the head with a frying pan for denying him the use of her Kindle.

The Arlington crime blotter says the 16-year-old e-booklover was taken into custody on October 12th and charged with "malicious wounding and destruction of property."
