The Word of Life Christian Church reopened Tuesday, after the town of New Hartford withdrew its order (for procedural reasons) arguing that the church was a public nuisance, forcing members to vacate it. The town, which is also challenging the church’s tax exempt status, still intends to pursue litigation.
