Those Hollywood dream masters are narrowing the field of actresses in contention for the lead in their adaptation of the dystopian teen book series The Hunger Games, and we're not thrilled with their choices. Also today: some bigger name actresses land in TV pilots and Superman gets a mom.

On last night's Chelsea Lately, adorable Ginnifer Goodwin manages to get even more adorable-er. While promoting the newest (and final) season of Big Love, Ginnifer also discusses failing miserably out of clown school and her inability to humiliate herself well.

Between getting recently engaged, crying constantly on the set due to Margene's "big secret," and wrapping the final season of Big Love—Ginnifer Goodwin has been crying a lot lately. Here's why.

Big Love's most surreal season yet went expectedly nuts for its finale. With Bill's election and the polygamists' outing nearing, the family became more fractured than ever before, as serious doubts about their united future shook the once happy Henricksons.

Of HBO's repertoire of reliably mind-blowing TV over the last few years, perhaps only Big Love has been able to simultaneously elicit horror and sympathy from its viewers so seamlessly.

Big Love's husband and wives exchanged places as Bill learned to share Margie with another man (a Green card marriage for his bastard child), and Nikki, influenced by questionable hormones, realized her true love for Bill, and her accompanying jealousies.

Zachary Quinto, aka Spock, will play George Gershwin in a Steven Spielberg-directed biopic. Sundance ended, Jersey Shore is back for sure, and Indian-themed comedies are hot like a homemade chicken curry. Welcome to the Roundup: Care for a hot toddy?

• Yet another book is coming out alleging that Bill Clinton did inappropriate things. In her new book Government Girl: Young and Female in the White House, Stacy Parker Aab claims Clinton groped her in a hotel room in 2000 and his pal Vernon Jordan tried to kiss her twice. Naturally we're delighted to see Jennifer Aniston's name in the news without any mention of her lesser half John Mayer, but unfortunately the actress' latest stunt does not include bikinis, Brad, or boy toy upgrades. In case you'd forgotten, the flower-scented B.O. phenom that is SATC: The Movie is being closely followed by another chick flick packed with A-Listers called He's Just Not That Into You. Aniston rounds out the female cast alongside Drew Barrymore, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Connelly and Scarlett Johansson. But according to Life & Style, Aniston took the very low road at a recent cover shoot for Marie Claire, insisting one of the ladies above be banned from the photo, making room for Aniston's widely seen curves to take front and center.
