A police officer in Georgia had what is being described as a "severe break in judgment" after he apparently drew his gun on a McDonald's customer who was taking too long to receive his order.

While many shake their head in disbelief at the continued existence of a segregated high school prom well into the 21st century, Georgia governor Nathan Deal, in whose state the aforementioned "separate-but-equal proms" are taking place, refuses to express support for an effort to hold Wilcox County's first ever integrated prom.

Ironically, it was just after the high school in Wilcox County, Georgia, became integrated thirty years ago that the school held its first segregated proms.

Georgia and Tennessee have been engaged in a long-standing battle over water rights. The dispute has to do with the Tennessee River and, as Georgia claims, state boundary lines that Tennessee may or may not have claimed from its southern neighbor in order to control the river and all the drinking water it provides. Now, Georgia's state senate has taken action and voted 48-2 to pass a resolution that would correct the state's northern border.

Brunswick, Georgia police arrested 17-year-old De'Marquise Elkins and a 14-year-old boy, whose name is being withheld due to his age, yesterday in connection with the shooting death of Sherry West's 13-month-old son.

Georgia State Representative Earnest Smith has a problem with Photoshop.
