According to one incredibly detailed summary in the cache of hacked DNC emails, the White House vetoed a performance by Ariana Grande because she was caught on camera licking a bunch of donuts.

Russia, by way of Wikileaks, today released close to 20,000 hacked DNC emails searchable by keyword, just in time for the convention.

On Wednesday, the hacker or hackers using the name “Guccifer 2.0” released a new batch of files alleged stolen from the Democratic National Committee detailing plans for a “counter convention” to be held in Cleveland during the Republican National Convention next month, The Hill reports.

When the Washington Post reported Monday that the Democratic National Committee’s servers had been breached by a team of Russian hackers, the DNC was quick to claim that nothing pertaining to the party’s many supporters had been pilfered. But a new cache of apparently hacked documents obtained by Gawker contains a wealth of donor information, including e-mail addresses and cell phone numbers for hundreds of high-profile and wealthy Democratic fundraisers.

The term “oppo research” is a sexy one, conjuring scenes of detectives peering in windows and meetings in shadowy underground parking garages. In reality, at least based on files that appeared to be hacked from the DNC, oppo research mostly consists of aggregating a bunch of news articles about Donald Trump.

Of the more than 200 pages of opposition research seemingly compiled by the DNC to nail Trump, the vast majority is underwhelming at best. One entry, though, almost makes all that trouble worth it: The fact that presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump doesn’t believe in heaven.

A 200+ page document that appears to be a Democratic anti-Trump playbook compiled by the Democratic National Committee has leaked online following this week’s report that the DNC was breached by Russian hackers. In it, Trump is pilloried as a “bad businessman” and “misogynist in chief.”
