Oregon Rep. David Wu, a tigersuit-clad furry sex monster, apparently won't sit out the rest of his House term before resigning. He's issued a statement announcing his imminent resignation — just as soon as the debt ceiling debacle draws to a close, which it never will.

Oregon Congressman David Wu, of fuzzy tiger suit fame, was recently accused of "aggressive and unwanted sexual behavior" by a young woman. Yesterday one of his advisors told Politico, "He isn't going to be running for reelection," but added that Wu will not resign because he didn't do anything wrong. Nancy Pelosi said in a statement that she wants the House Ethics Committee to open an investigation into the latest claim against Wu. Watch out for the Ethics Committee, Wu — they're tough.

Last time we heard from Congressman David Wu, he was BlackBerrying pics of himself wearing a tiger costume to his employees and pursuing other strange activities that led several staffers to quit working for him. Now a young woman's accusing him of "aggressive and unwanted sexual behavior."
