Gawker · 11/11/03 11:28AMGawker: Totally Over
Gawker · 11/03/03 08:52AMTerrible, terrible news: Gawker, the expensive hobby of eccentric playboy publisher Nick Denton, is now officially played out.
The go-to spot
Gawker · 06/25/03 09:58AMFrom the Sacramenton Bee: In the six months since its debut, the news and celebrity gossip Web log Gawker (www.gawker.com) has garnered almost as much attention as the people it covers. Though most of the site's material doesn't stray too far outside of New York's 212 area code, it's quickly become the national go-to spot for keeping up with the rich and scandalous, the media elite and the pop-culture trends of the moment.

Gawker · 05/22/03 03:54PMHoward Stern reads Gawker
Gawker · 05/22/03 03:13PMMy colleague in work and blogging, Joe Territo, heard the Stern blogging comments and he did mention Gawker. According to Joe, when a caller asked what blogging was, Howard explained that it's a web page where people tell you what happens in their lives and he complained that the writing on most of them is not good because it's not professional. He then said that he goes to Gawker every day.

Gawker · 05/22/03 01:25PMMy friend Michael M. Thomas, the author and former Observer columnist, was an early practitioner, but I didn't really get into religious blog reading until Snoodles introduced me to the brilliant Gawker.com.
