• Time to sell off assets to pay the lawyers! Raj Rajaratnam, the scandal-plagued hedge fund billionaire who was arrested for fraud last October and has since been charged with masterminding the largest insider-trading racket in decades, has sold one of the apartments he owns at 60 Sutton Place South. The 8th-floor co-op, which the Galleon Group founder bought for $1.675 million in 2008, sold to Lewis Zuchman for $1.575 million. [Cityfile]

• Theodore Friedman, a former negligence lawyer who was disbarred in 1994, and his wife, former New York Surrogate's Court judge Eve Preminger, have sold their three-bedroom penthouse at 25 Central Park West for $10.05 million. The couple first listed the 2,767-square-foot apartment, which features 900 square feet of outdoor space and 360-degree views, for $13.5 million in January of 2009. [Cityfile, Stribling]

Gisele Bundchen red-brick townhouse in the West Village is up for sale. The supermodel paid $5.8 million for 42 Barrow Street in 2005. (She bought the home under the name Casa Vida LLC; "Vida" also happens to be the name of her dog.) Now it's been listed with Prudential Douglas Elliman's Raphael De Niro for $13.95 million. [NYO]

Defense Exec Pays $8.5 Million at 25 Central Park West

• Robert Hytner, who founded the defense contractor Information Manufacturing Corporation before selling the company in 2007, has paid $8.5 million for a three-bedroom apartment at 25 Central Park West. The seller was media exec Adam Klein. [Cityfile]
• Kenneth Martin, who retired as the CFO of the pharma maker Wyeth in 2007, and his wife Christine, paid $2.575 million for a 14th-floor apartment at 455 East 86th Street. [Cityfile]
