Some RNC Attendees Have Explosive Vomiting and Diarrhea, Because of Norovirus

Have pity on a group of California GOP staffers in Ohio who have been vomiting uncontrollably from both ends of their bodies, not because of the plagiarism and open racism at the convention, but because of an apparent outbreak of norovirus.

Stat News and the Los Angeles Times are reporting that as many as a dozen members of the California GOP who traveled to Ohio for the event have fallen ill. The Times obtained an email to California delegates advising them not to shake hands with others and to avoid using communal shuttles from their hotel in Sandusky to the convention in Cleveland if they are showing symptoms.

Those symptoms, according to the CDC, include:

Diarrhea

Throwing Up

Nausea

Stomach Pain

Fever

Headache

Body Aches

It’s also “exceedingly contagious,” Stat News notes, so be careful out there.
