So Helpful: Gwyneth Paltrow Helped Her Hairstylist Lose 135 Pounds
It's the second day of the new year, and I know what you all are thinking about: losing 135 pounds from your bodies. It sounds like an impossible task, but with the help of Gwyneth Paltrow, you too can experience extreme weight loss.
Celebrity hairstylist David Babaii told E! News yesterday that his dear friend Gwyn is the reason he lost so much weight in 2014. She's so helpful. David explains:
It was during a casual conversation and I said to Gwyneth, "Listen, I really want to lose weight. I want to become better." She looked at me and said, "Sounds good, what do you want to do? How do you want to do this?" It was just very organic and not in a judgmental way.
In a nonjudgmental way, Gwyn proceeded to tell David to stop eating gluten.
If I was hungry, I would email her any time of the day and if she wasn't sleeping, she'd reply right away. She would say, "Try this. I think you'll like it. It's not boring." She said that everything you do, do it in moderation. She would never say stop doing this or stop doing that. It's like she lead me to it without the pressure. ...
[She said,] "Gluten is not really a good thing, but don't kill yourself to all of a sudden become gluten-free. Just do it slowly."
In four months, David lost 135 pounds. His before-and-after photos can be viewed here.
Now you're probably thinking about how nice it would be to have your close personal friend Gwyneth Paltrow as your weight-loss coach. Since that won't be an option for you in 2015, refer to GOOP's "Annual Detox" plan to begin your journey:
As always, the rules are simple (but tough). Just say no to: alcohol, caffeine, added sugar, gluten, dairy, soy, corn, and nightshades (white, blue, red, and yellow potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant). ... You want to keep your digestive system moving, so drink plenty of water (hot water in the morning is key), and think about kicking the week off with a colonic—they definitely get things going.
Isn't that helpful? Sorry about the nightshades, and have fun with your colonic!
