According to Toronto police, Wayne Marlon Jones of United Spiritual Baptist Church sexually assaulted a woman while providing "spiritual guidance" that included alleged exorcisms.

Jones, 53, was arrested by police last August, and reportedly assaulted the woman during their guidance sessions from May 2011 to May 2013. He also apparently convinced the woman to turn over property and money to him. Police believe there could be more victims.

"Weird things go on over there," Sue Lamonday, who lives across the street from the church, told the Toronto Sun. "It didn't make sense people would be there at 2 a.m. until 4, 5, 6 a.m. I walked by last summer and heard (a man) screaming, 'God is going to save you from the fires of hell if you hand over your help any way you can.'"

The pastor has been charged by police with sexual assault and three counts of fraud.
