Adrian Chen · 04/27/11 01:47PMAmerica's worst trend, YouTube videos of fast food patrons fighting, continues. Now it's happening at an Atlanta IHOP, where an off-duty police officer punched a woman in the face, kicking off a melee. It's unclear exactly why the cop was struggling with these people in the first place. The lawyer representing three of the women in the video accused the police officer of "excessive force."

The producer of the recent film adaption of Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged, the tedious right-wing fantasy that Rep. Paul Ryan makes each of his staff members read, may never get around to making parts two and three. It appears that Chicago Mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel has found his top political adviser, a red man-sized furry bull whose "fixer" talents have largely been wasted in his previous role as a mascot for the Chicago Bulls basketball team. It really wouldn't be surprising to see Rahm Emanuel leave his wife for this natural soul mate. [30FPS via Wonkette]
