What are we to do?” asked Mujibullah Malikzada, elder brother of a 27-year-old woman Farkhunda Malikzada, who was accused of burning a Quran and was brutally beaten to death by a mob of men in Afghanistan as police watched. The New York Times published a heart-wrenching account of Malikzada’s death—and the lack of justice for Afghan women—in harrowing detail on Saturday.
