Now, perhaps out of a mistaken belief that fans run on Beyoncé hair instead of electricity, Beyoncé has chopped off all her long hair, in an ambitious tactical maneuver designed to starve the world's fans.

The singer posted three photos of her new pixie haircut to her Instagram account late Wednesday night, two days after the summer leg of her world tour wrapped in Brooklyn. So far, reviews have been mixed.

E! Online complimented her "enviable facial features."
