French-Canadian news anchor Alexis de Lancer suffered some technical difficulties during a recent live broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation-owned news channel RDI when his nose suddenly started to bleed as he was in the process of signing off.

In response to concerned Tweets from fans, Alexis de Lancer said he was doing fine and had no idea what caused the bleeding, chalking the whole thing up to "bad timing."

Some viewers were more than happy to offer up their own theories. "Cocaine is a hell of drug," reads the top comment on YouTube.
